HypeChain Methodology: Sources, Tests & Review Dates

What a review establishes

HypeChain compares public evidence about bot fees, permissions, and service availability. A listing is not a safety certification or a guarantee of trading results. We distinguish three kinds of evidence:

  • Provider documentation: what a service says it charges or supports, with a source URL and check date. This does not prove implementation or reliability.
  • Independent evidence: an auditor’s report or another clearly identified source. We preserve its scope, delivery date, and unresolved findings.
  • HypeChain tests: actions we actually performed, with the setup, date, and results. If no test record exists, execution, withdrawal, latency, and profitability remain not tested.

The September 28, 2026 bot refresh is a source review. No new trading tests were performed. “Source reviewed” badges describe that work; they do not mean independently verified performance.

Fees and permissions

We separate builder fees from exchange fees, funding, gas, subscriptions, and plan credits. Starting rates are shown before conditional discounts. Spot sell-only fees, volume tiers, and rebate claim requirements must remain visible in comparisons.

For permissions, we ask who holds the main wallet and delegated keys, which actions each key allows, and how users cancel orders, close positions, withdraw, and revoke access. API-only access can limit withdrawals while still allowing losses through trading. Exportable keys and open-source code do not by themselves establish exclusive control or a security audit.

Dates and corrections

A source-check date applies only to the stated review scope. A build never renews it. Old review dates stay historical; an overdue schedule is not evidence that a review happened. Older guides can remain useful explanations, but their dated product claims need separate verification.

Source checks have a maximum age of 90 days for bot records and educational guides. An earlier lifecycle review date takes precedence. These are editorial limits, not promises that a service stays available for that period. Validation blocks releases with expired or missing evidence dates; a daily monitor reports overdue checks without changing dates or publishing content.

Shutdown notices retain the provider’s exact announced dates and any disclosed time zone. When an announced date passes, we say that the date passed; this does not prove the shutdown occurred or that an account exit succeeded. Status notices and suspended onboarding take precedence over historical fee and permission analysis.

Our earlier Tier 1 labels and numeric rankings were not supported by a current, reproducible testing record. They have been withdrawn. We do not promise a monthly review cadence or response deadline that we cannot demonstrate. Material warnings take precedence over onboarding and affiliate promotion.

The September correction baseline records pricing corrections, the goodcryptoX pentest clarification, and the Hyperbot wind-down. It does not imply all discrepancies arose in September.

Affiliates and feedback

Some links pay HypeChain a commission. We disclose those links; commission rates are not a ranking criterion. Read the affiliate disclosure .

Send corrections to editor@hypechain.app with the affected URL, the specific claim, a primary source, and your relationship to the provider. We investigate and correct supported findings without promising a fixed response time.

Use the comparison and permission checklist to review the evidence before connecting an account.
