What the sources describe

Katoshi's official fee docs list a Wood entry rate of 0.06% perps and 0.6% spot sells. Diamond rates of 0.01% perps and 0.1% spot sells require more than $25 million in rolling 30-day volume. Vault bots use a separate daily-credit model.

Limitations to understand

Cautions

  • Diamond pricing is qualified by more than $25 million in rolling 30-day volume.
  • Katoshi says spot fees apply to sells; buys are listed at 0%.
  • The documentation does not clearly explain how its fee rates combine with the Hyperliquid venue schedule.
  • API-wallet permissions, key storage, and trading behavior were not assessed in this source update.

Permission & security notes

  • HypeChain did not assess Katoshi API-wallet permissions or key storage.

Source check: September 28, 2026. This update checks Katoshi’s published fee tiers, spot fee treatment, vault-credit terms, and Hyperliquid’s fee rules. It does not retest the app, create a trading account, or assess API-key permissions and storage. The existing lastReviewed value remains February 15, 2026; this source update does not renew it.

Published fee tiers

Katoshi’s documentation says its fee tiers are based on rolling 30-day Hyperliquid volume. The published schedule lists:

Katoshi tier30-day volume conditionPerps rateSpot rate
Wood (entry tier)No minimum shown0.06%0.6%
DiamondMore than $25 million0.01%0.1%

Katoshi says spot fees apply to sell orders only; it lists no fee for spot buys. The Diamond rates are tier-qualified, not universal starting prices.

Katoshi’s table labels these as perps and spot fees; it does not describe them as maker/taker rates or explicitly call them builder fees. Hyperliquid documents its own maker/taker schedule and a separate builder-code mechanism. HypeChain did not execute a trade to inspect how Katoshi displays combined charges, so confirm the all-in cost in the app before treating a listed rate as your total cost.

Vault pricing is a separate model

For Hyperliquid vault bots, Katoshi’s documentation lists a charge of 1 credit per active bot per day and a 0% Katoshi perps fee. It says one credit costs 1 USDC and that its vault support currently covers perps only. A bot may pause if the account runs out of credits.

These terms apply to vault bots. They should not be mixed with the ordinary Wood-to-Diamond fee schedule.

Custody and testing boundary

The source review for this update covered pricing documents only. It did not verify how Katoshi creates API wallets, which permissions it requests, or where any API-wallet key is stored. HypeChain therefore does not label the connection non-custodial or describe its withdrawal permissions as verified.

Katoshi’s fee and credit terms are vendor-published information. HypeChain did not test strategy creation, order routing, or vault execution.
